FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Here are answers to some common questions about shopping with Texanspice.com! If you don't find your answer here, please feel free to contact us.

Products

  • Q: Do you have information about allergens?
  • A: Allergen information, if applicable, is typically listed on the product packaging and/or on the individual product pages on our website. If you have specific allergy concerns, please contact us before ordering.
  • Q: How should I store the spices/sauces/coffee?
  • A: For best results, store spices in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Sauces should generally be refrigerated after opening (check the label). Coffee beans/grounds should be stored in an airtight container at room temperature. Check product labels for specific storage instructions.

Ordering & Payment

  • Q: What payment methods do you accept?
  • A: We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) and Shop Pay, Paypal, Apple Pay, and Venmo.
  • Q: Is my payment information secure?
  • A: Yes, your security is very important to us. Our website uses SSL encryption, and payment processing is handled through secure, compliant third-party providers. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.

Shipping & Delivery

  • Q: Where do you ship?
  • A: We ship throughout the United States. Yes, even Hawaii, Alaska, and territories. If USPS goes there, so do we. (It just costs more, sorry.) We also ship to various foreign countries. If for some reason you are unable to order to where you are, PLEASE get in touch with us, it's possible it may be a configuration issue on our side. Due to regulations, we DO NOT ship to Germany.
  • Q: How much does shipping cost?
  • A: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your shipping destination. There are certain rate "caps" based on weight categories. So you may think that shipping is too much for two jars of salsa... but it is probably the same cost for 3 or 4.
  • Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
  • A: Orders are typically processed within 1 business day. We ship same day whenever possible. Standard shipping within the US usually takes 3 to 5 business days after processing. We typically do not offer expedited shipping as it can be quite expensive. All shipping times can be affected by holidays and carrier delays, but we want you to have your stuff as soon as possible.
  • Q: How can I track my order?
  • A: Once your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation containing your tracking number. You can use this number on the carrier's website (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx) to track its progress.
  • Q: Do you offer local delivery?
  • A: Yes, local delivery is available in the Denton, TX area in selected ZIP codes for a reduced fee. If it is available in your ZIP code, you will see it available at checkout. If it is not available and you think it should be, feel free to contact us. Please be aware we will take a picture of the delivery at the front door as confirmation, though carriers like UPS, Amazon, and Doordash do this and it is commonplace in the industry.

Returns & Issues

  • Q: What is your return policy?
  • A: We want you to be happy with your purchase! A happy customer is a repeat customer, right? Please contact us so we can make it right.
  • Q: What if my order arrives damaged?
  • A: We're sorry to hear that! Please contact us right away. We'd like to see photos and know as much about what happened as possible so we can determine what changes we need to make to our packing/shipping solutions. We'll work with you to find a solution.

Contact

  • Q: How can I contact customer service?
  • A: We got chat, we got email, we even got a phone number. Please don't call, I hate talking on the phone. You can access chat from any page or go to our Contact page for other ways to get in touch. Go ahead, reach out! We love to hear from happy customers and we love to make customers happy.
